Giving an alternative gift with Hand in Hand is simple. Add your gifts to the cart and we will send you gift cards or a gift certificate to match your gifts to give to your loved ones or friends. If you want several gifts on one card, prefer a gift certificate or do not require gift cards, please indicate in the message box during the ordering process. Teacher's Monthly Salary

£50 will go towards supporting a teacher's monthly salary at New Hope, Daylove, JJCT or Katwe.
Basic Tools into Training
£100
Giving students the opportunity of training is essential towards becoming independent. Basic tools gets them started on their courses.
Hostel Accommodation
£25
Providing hostel accommodation for one student for one month.
Alternatively you can give to our chosen project this Christmas, JJ Excel College in Uganda.
Boarding facilities are needed so that more students can take up the opportunity of skills training, improving their prospects of being able to get future jobs. Currently classrooms are being converted each night for students to be able to sleep at the college rather than a long trek home.
Our overall target to build a boys' dormitory is £15,000
Together we can reach this target.
- £8 can buy a bag of cement
- £20 can buy 500 bricks
- £300 will buy the tools and equipment needed to carry out the build
- £3,000 will cover all of the plastering and rendering costs
